# Leveling

To Level Up a Rune a certain Amount of AP and other Material is required as its stated in the [Rune List](/content/systems/runes/essence-runes/rune-list.md).

The Player can also view the necessary Items for Upgrading a Rune in the Soul Ability UI by hovering the specific Rune.

After clicking the Upgrade Icon a Confirmation Windows is shown to proceed with the Leveling

The Materials or AP cannot be refunded.

Once a Rune is leveled up the Materials and AP are gone

However you can delete the whole Rune with all its upgrades and Restart from 0.

After a Successfull Confirmation the Rune has been upgraded (leveled up) successfully
