To perform Chaos Upgrades the Upgrade Core specifically for Chaos Gear is necessary: Chaos Core

Chaos was introduced to be Chaotic and hard ... Is it?

Yes it is BUT we have the Solution in our DP Shop -> Chaos Safeguard :)

It is necessary to Register Safeguards since the Result can be a destroyed Chaos Upgrade on your Normal Item or a destroyed Chaos Item

Chaos Upgrade UI works the same as Normal Upgrade UI Upgrade UI

Chaos Items

Chaos Upgrade brings different Items to the Game. Some of them are essential and some of them are optional to Use.

Chaos Safeguard cannot be used on Chaos Gear above +15!

Chaos Converter

Chaos Converter is necessary for Items which are not Chaos Equipment from the Default. For those Items its necessary to use a Converter before to apply the Chaos Equipment Effect.

Its possible to get Chaos Converters from different Sources

• Buy from NPC Deighton (Grocer) in Bloody Ice

To Buy a Chaos Converter a Shiny Jewel of Nix is necessary which can be crafted at NPC Chloe in Port Lux.

Material "Broken Tiara of Nix" can be obtained in the Dungeon Pandemonium from the Last Boss. However the Drop Rate is not 100%!

With the Shiny Jewel of Nix you can now buy a Chaos Converter from the NPC Deighton in Bloody Ice

Chaos Safeguards

The Chaos Safeguards can be categorized in 2 Groups

• Normal Chaos Safeguards

• Special Chaos Safeguards

On this Server the Normal Safeguards have no big Value and are not necessary since the Supply for Special Chaos Safeguards is available all the Time.

If the Safeguard is selected but not "Applied" the Safety Function is not available and your Chaos Item or Upgrade Level can get destroyed!

Special Chaos Safeguard

The Special Chaos Safeguard, also known as Purple/Pink Chaos Safeguard, is available all the Time on this Server can can be bought in the DP Shop or by other Players, aswell it can drop in Events.

The Special Chaos Safeguard uses regardless the Upgrade Level of an Item always 1 Safeguard at a time.

It needs to be selected and applied in the Upgrade UI

Normal Chaos Safeguard

The Type Normal Chaos Safeguard works completely different than the Special Chaos Safeguard. There are currently 9 Types available.

On our Server you can receive those only by Farming Eternal Chaos Arena and Crafting. Those Safeguards are not available in DP Shop, Cash Shop or Events

Results

There are 9 Results available for Normal Upgrading

If you hit an Item to the Maximum Level a special Message will appear in System Chat and is visible to all People on the same Channel!

However the Upgrade Level of an Normal Item is not visible in the Chat. This applies only for Chaos Items.

• For each Grade and each specific Type of Upgrade Core is an different Success Rate applied.

• The Core Consumption Table also includes Safeguard Usage

Chaos Seal Stone

Chaos Seal Stones are used to transfer Chaos Upgrade from a Normal Item to another Normal Item.

Chaos Seal Stones always contains the Name and the Level of the previous Item that they got used on

Chaos Upgrade from a Chaos Item cannot be transferred

Chaos Seal Stones can be upgraded as if it would be a Normal Item with Chaos Upgrade Level applied.

For this Upgrade Method the same Success Rates are applied as a Normal Item.

Chaos Seal Stones can get destroyed by Failure of Upgrading!
